ITINERARY
Pre Accommodation
If you arrival time is after midday we highly recommend a pre-night's accommodation. This is ensure that your safari is not off to a rush start, and you can take the time to enjoy it from the start.
All the accommodation places that All Around Tanzania Safaris recommend are locally owned and operated.
Day 1: Pick Up & Cultural Drive
Pick up from Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO) or your selected pickup point or pre-accommodation. Enjoy a cultural drive of approximately 3 hours to your first destination, either Lake Manyara or Tarangire National Park, before spending the night in Karatu.
Day 2: Serengeti National Park
An early morning start from your Karatu accommodation, after breakfast heading on the road to the famous Serengeti National Park. Watch the differing landscape on your journey to the South of Serengeti where you will explore the abundance of wildlife on an afternoon game drive to your overnight accommodation where you will spend the night.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park
Early morning is one of the best times to spot some of the Serengeti wildlife, as many of the predators are out looking for breakfast! Make sure you pack your camera you will not want to forget it today. Late Afternoon the animals are hungry again, so once again we head out for more game viewing. After an action-packed day, you will return to your nights accommodation to enjoy the stunning sunset.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park
We start our day with a very early game drive in Serengeti and return to camp for a late breakfast or we can take a packed breakfast with us to enjoy in the middle of the Serengeti. We then travel to the incredible Ngorongoro Crater rim via Oldupai Gorge and stay overnight on the Ngorongoro Crater rim.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater
Early morning descent into the Ngorongoro Crater with a views of the open grasslands is an experience you will never forget. Being one of Tanzania's best game drives you will get many chances to see the big 5, maybe even spot the elusive only two Black Rhinos before an afternoon drive back to Arusha or the Airport.
