Climb Mt Kilimanjaro

Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro is the opportunity of a lifetime! Rising 5,895 metres above the East African plains, it is the tallest freestanding mountain in the world.

Finding the right route for you is extremely important and also personal. All of our climbs have a minimum 6-day duration in order to give you as much time to acclimatise as possible.

Make sure you prepare because it is certainly not easy but is definitely rewarding, exciting and fun.

As with our Safaris, these treks can be completely private and are as customisable as possible to provide you with your dream experience!

Gorilla Trek in Rwanda/Uganda

Uganda and Rwanda are both incredible places to travel to once you have finished your Tanzanian safari. With 11 Gorilla families calling Uganda home and 10 in Rwanda, you can see that almost half the world's population of Gorillas call this area home.

Only 8 visitors per tracking group per day are allowed, so a Gorilla trek needs to be planned in advance to avoid disappointment. Hiking can take up to 7 hours so you will require a moderate fitness level. While Uganda and Rwanda have exceptionally high success rates of Gorilla sightings, having a Gorilla permit does not guarantee viewing gorillas.

Hot Air Ballooning - A view from the top!

Your Balloon Safari adventure starts early morning when you depart your lodge or camp.

When you arrive, you will meet your pilot and witness your balloon being inflated and prepared for launch. After a thorough safety briefing and demonstration of boarding and landing, you will be ready for lift off!

Rising as the sun rises your balloon floats in whatever direction the winds of the day are heading over this wonderful area.

Kenya Stop Over - 3 Days/2 Nights

Enjoy a stopover on the way to Tanzania in the bustling city of Nairobi, capital of Kenya. Whilst Tanzania is home to most of the Masaai Mara village, Kenya also shares part of the northern region, and the two countries share a border. You will have the opportunity to shop for handcrafted jewellery, clothes, furniture and art. You will pay a visit to the David Sheldrick Elephant Centre, giving you an up close and personal experience with these animals.

At the Giraffe Sanctuary you can see and feed the endearing and protected Rothschild's Giraffe. Of course, not to be missed is a visit to Karen Blixens property (pen name Isak Dinesen), theauthor of book and then film,Out of Africa. Located just 10kmsout of Nairobi, her African home has a museum and coffeeshop set within beautiful gardens, where you will find manyreferences to the book itself. From Nairobi it is only a short flighton to Kilimanjaro International Airport to begin your safari

Zanzibar Beach Escpae

Zanzibar is most well known for its iconic white sandy beaches and its cultural hub, Stone Town.

Stone Town is part of the old city and sings with history. The colours and smells will delight you as you wander the noisy streets. While here take a tour of the Spice plantations or learn the history of Slave Trade.

The North Coast of Zanzibar is where those magical white beaches are found. Head to Nungwi where you can relax in your Resort and recuperate after your safari. We recommend 3-4 days in Zanzibar.

Maximise Your Experience!

Why not customise your safari with some optional extras? Below are our most popular extras, but we can also add on nature walks, waterfall sightseeing and volcanic climbs.
