ITINERARY
Pre Accommodation
To get the most out of this Safari we highly recommend a pre-night accommodation in Arusha, which we can arrange for you. Often we use hotels such as The Outpost or Kibo Palace Hotel. This ensures you don't miss any part of your safari.
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire
Pick up from Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO) or your selected pickup point or pre-accommodation. Taking a cultural drive out to Tarangire National Park where we will do your first game drive. Tarangire is most well known for its abundance of Elephants. If you are lucky enough you may even see up to 150 in one place!
Day 2: Lake Manyara
Begin the day with an early breakfast before heading through the gorgeous villages via the back entrance to Lake Manyara. Make sure you look up on this game drive you might spot the tree-climbing lions. Not to mention the monkey's you can see screeching down from the trees.
Day 3: Karatu to Serengeti National Park
Today is the drive to Serengeti National Park! On our way, we can stop off at the historical Oldupai Gorge. An incredible geological site where some of the first human footprints are preserved, over 3.5 million years old! Continue on to the Serengeti entrance for your first overnight in the Serengeti.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park
Wake up to the sounds of the African savannah! Enjoy an early breakfast before heading out on a game drive through the Serengeti. Take a chance at spotting the big 5! Return to camp for a hot lunch and afternoon rest before a twilight game drive. An evening under canvas with wild animals roaming around you is an experience you will never forget.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater
Early breakfast followed by a drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. Descend the crater and take in the incredible views. Explore the crater floor where you will come face to face with a multitude of animals. You might stop off and enjoy your lunch overlooking the hippo pond.
Day 6: Lake Eyasi
A drive down to Lake Eyasi to experience some of the amazing cultures Tanzania has to offer. A visit to the blacksmith to observe how they make their jewellery and weapons. Followed by a visit to the Hadzabe tribe, some of the last hunters and gatherers to walk the earth. Learn how they hunt and live off the land.

Day 7: Karatu & Arusha
Drive through Mto wa Mbu and visit the local villages and markets. Try some delicious red bananas or take a tour of the Banana Beer Factory. Followed by a drive back to Arusha, where we can drop you at the airport or your chosen post accommodation.
